ASCS Coastal vs. Rebel series Inaugural event   Feb. 10, 2007

Pit gates open at 10am with the grandstand gates opening at noon and racing begins at 2pm. 

Once I get lineups, I will post them.  Cars are still coming in so I will post them as soon as I get them. 

Cars are putting heat in the motors.  Will post info as soon as I get it.

Schedule as of now:

Hot laps at 2pm    I-Stocks, Hobby, Modifieds and then the ASCS Sprints

2:00pm est:  Drivers meeting is underway.

2:20pm est:  They are pulling pills for the heats.  There will be 3 heats 8 laps each and a 25 lap Feature event.

2:40pm est:  Hot laps are underway now. 

2:50pm est:  The 8 car of Darrel Bond hit the wall during hotlaps and it looks as if he might not return.  Plus, the 32 car of Hunter Phillips and the 2d of Doug Day could not get started.

3:00pm est:  Hot laps are over. 

3:23pm est:  Heats will be run as follows, the 3 local divisions first and then the ASCS Heats and then a dash and then an intermission with the features to follow.  Same schedule as the heats.

3:45pm est:  Heat race action is about to start so the Sprints should be racing in the next 20-30 minutes.  Will post any information as I get it.

4:15pm est:  Waiting on the bomber car heats to finish and then a couple modified heats. 

4:25pm est:  The bomber cars are having problems getting their heats finished.  Another car has wrecked.  Then there are 2 modified heats then the sprints.  ***Note heat changes below***

4:40pm est:  One more modified heat and then the sprints.  The track is in bad shape.  Turns 1 and 2 is black and if you get above the dark groove, there is no traction. 

4:50pm est:  The sprints are being pushed off for their heats.

6:20pm est:  They are running the bomber feature right now and then the Sprint dash. 

6:35pm est:  The dash is next to race.  They watered the track before the bomber car feature and it looks a little better than before so we will see how it does after the dash.

6:45pm est: They are running the other 2 features first so there will be a lull in the updates .  If I hear anything, I will post it.

7:25pm est:  The Sprint feature is now on the track.  Scroll down below the lineup and keep up with whats going on in the feature.  I'll update as often as I can.

69 Michael Miller has scratched from the heat and 09 Timmy Thrash will now start at the rear of the 2nd heat instead of the front row

2 Todd Fayard hits the wall in between turns 1 and 2 and bicycles it end over end and lands on all four tires and tries to keep going but stopped in turn 4.  Red Flag
